Helmet Design / About the project

Here is my academic thesis: a unique design concept, not yet presented on the market and an immense personal challenge. This project was entirely dedicated to the in-depth study of the motorcycle helmet as product design. The thesis has been divided into two parts: a theoretical part on “The motorcycle helmet between marketing and design” and a project part on ”Design of a motorcycle helmet with an integrated Action Cam”. The main objective of the thesis project was to succeed in developing a product design able to cope with real needs not yet met by current market proposals; for these reasons, after a long and careful market analysis, targets, trends in the world of motorcycles etc. the idea to develop a design concept for a motorcycle helmet with an integrated video recording system was born.
